Gun homicide numbers manipulated for effect.

OK folks, the PTB and their useful idiots are engaged in a decades long operation to disarm the populace of America (and the world) for their own good.  And the numbers game is a prime method of mis-informing people about the causes and categories of gun violence.  The gun-grabbers would have us believe that average people are murdering each other, when in fact, suicides and gang violence account for the vast majority of gun homicides in the U.S.

In both categories, there is little we can do to stop these deaths.  People who are determined to kill themselves will find a way, and there are dozens of ways - whether a gun is available or not.

Gangs roam our inner-cities with impunity.

And we will never keep firearms from the hands of ganbangers by making them illegal to possess.  They don't bother to check the gun law books before they carry out a driveby, robbery or murder.  And they don't fill out federal forms and wait for the background check.  Gan homicides account for about 80% of all  gun homicides in America.  

Let's focus on mental health and ending gang violence, and we will go a long way to really reducing gun homicides.

When you look at the facts, which are available in the article linked below, it's obvious that eliminating violence isn't the true motive behind the gun control steamroller.  It's people control.

It's more than a right.  It's a duty to protect yourself, your home, and your family.

Rotten to the Common Core

The attempt to nationalize education, which began long before the Obama administration came to power, is beginning to take an increasing amount of flak.  Recently, it's a left-leaning group with a name you can't say in the classroom.

Don't be a badass?

The Badass Teacher Association (the call themselves BATs) has lined up squarely against Common Core.  It's interesting to note that the word "common" is the root of the word "Communism".

An article in New American (thenewamerican.com), stated, 

"According to the association, its aim is to reduce or even eliminate the use of high-stakes testing while increasing teacher autonomy in the classroom. In a nutshell, that starts with killing Common Core. The BATs are also working to “include teacher and family voices in legislative decision-making processes that affect students,” it explains. To achieve its mission, the alliance says it will plan different actions each week where members can help out, as well as having state groups coordinate local rallies and events. Other activism will include phone calls, letter-writing campaigns, e-mails to officials, and more. "

One of the major undesirables of Common Core is that it further removes control of education from the parents to the Fedgov.  And that puts unelected bureaucrats in a position to influence the hearts and minds of millions of American children.  Local control of education has been one of the major reasons we have had the lead in literacy for a long time, up until about 40 years ago.  It also contains suggested resources for curriculum that are objectionable to many constitutionally minded people.  Details are in the New American article.

So the BATs have joined the Tea Party, at least for this one dance.

VP Biden stands up for the Constitution!

In a shocking development, Vice President Joe Biden revealed that he had commissioned several constitutional scholars who studied the Constitution's limitations on he war powers of the president.  The results were that the nation's chief executive has no power to send Americans to war without the specific and prior approval of congress.

The president should be impeached if he tries to take the nation to war in the middle east "without congressional approval."

This amazing statement, which the Veep made on several TV news shows, was an example of some the most forceful, clear and thoughtful comments we have seen from Mr. Biden, who has earned the reputation in some circles as a politician who sometimes shoots from the hip.

It is refreshing to hear him defend the document that he has damaged seriously in the past several years.  Several videos have surfaced which offer proof to naysayers that he has indeed, at leas in this instance, correctly interpreted and staunchly defended the United States Constitution and the Separation of Powers doctrine..  One such video is offered below.

Say What?

There is only one problem here, as I see it.  The statements, which have surfaced recently during the blizzard of coverage and commentary on the imminent attack on Syria, were referring to Iran.  And what's more, they were made back before he became the second-in-command to Mr. Obama.  The president to whom Biden referred in this video, was not the man who occupies the oval office today, but George W. Bush.

One wonders how he is going to explain these remarks to his boss.

The Road to WWIII

Connecting the dots is not only a kid's game.

Ok, so this whole war with Syria thing has totally taken over the consciousness of the nation, and a lot of the world.  There are two things to note about it.

First, we had better realize that there are other things going on underneath this cover that the PTB would not like us to discover.  Do your homework.

Second, have you noticed there is a pattern beginning to be visible even to the uninformed, which is about 85% of America?  The pattern is the takeover and control ,by the United States and powerful behind-the-scenes organizations, of nation after nation, now mostly in the Middle East and Africa.

The question is why?

                                                         We must choose.

For part of the answer, I include here a very provocative and radical video that surprisingly is still available on YouTube after a million and a half views.

I haven't verified all the events in the first part, but some of them I know to be accurate.  The past part contains published material references.

We had better ask ourselves with regard to Syria, why would the Assad regime use poison gas when that act would (and actually is) bring[ing] down the power players of the world upon it's head?

The Federal Reserve (along with it's partners) is in the process of taking down the United States slowly so that we can be comfortably merged with Canada and Mexico, and eventually, Russia and China.

Your police and military friends, neighbors, and loved ones need to know what is happening, because, as Jack McLamb always said, if tyranny comes to your door, it will be wearing a uniform.

Taxes are the Latest Assault Weapon aimed at the 2nd Amendment.

The assault on the 2nd Amendment continues.  In another of the myriad schemes to eventually repeal the 2nd Amendment, two federal lawmakers have introduced tax legislation that would enact a huge increase on the cost of  firearms and ammo.

Called the “Gun Violence Prevention and Safe Communities Act," the bill sponsored by William Pascrell, D-N.J., and Danny Davis, D-Ill., would nearly double the current 11 percent tax on handguns, while raising the levy on bullets and cartridges from 11 percent to 50 percent.

"This bill represents a major investment in the protection of our children and our communities, and reflects the long-term societal costs of gun and ammunition purchases in our country,” Pascrell said.

The lawmakers say the bill would generate $600 million per year, which would be used to fund law-enforcement and gun violence prevention.

There is no evidence that any tax will reduce the number of firearms in the hands of criminals.  But it will obviously make it harder for good Americans to be able to defend themselves agains those same criminals, who always find a way to obtain weapaons.  In fact, thousands of guns now held by various  murderers, rapists and drug dealers came to them courtesy of the US Federal government in the Fast and Furious debacle.

The graph above shows that the more guns carries by the general population, the lower the homicide rate in the US, which begs the question, what is the real motive for these unconstitutional actions?

The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association [www.cspoa.org] opposes these attempts to deprive Americans of one of their sacred rights under the Constitution.  As the legislative liaison for CSPOA, I will be working with our members and other concerned Americans to oppose this unwise, and economically disastrous legislation.

The title of this blog, "A Lawman Speaks for Liberty", is affectionately borrowed from a pioneer freedom fighter in law enforcement, Jack McLamb.  As a  Phoenix police officer more than 30 years ago, Jack was the most decorated officer during his time, as well as the most fired.

When he sarted to speak out for the Constitutional rights of the people he served, and to urge other lawmen to be true to their oaths and defend the people even against government if need be, he was attacked and basically forced to retire for exercising his first amendment rights.

I met him in 1980 and from the beginning Jack has been my mentor, my friend and my brother in the struggle for liberty for all americans.  He founded the American Citizens and Lawmen Association (ACLA) and Police Against the New World Order, when it was considered crazy to talk of certain things.  His long-running radio show alerted tens of thousands to the threats witin our nation that are tearing down our freedom and exceptionalism.

His manifesto, "A Lawman Speaks for Liberty", started it all.  Jack has been a tireless writer through his Aid and Abet Police and Military Newsletter, and a prolific speaker nationwide.  I have been fortunate to work with Jack for many years and learn so much from him.  I had my own career as a Mesa Arizona police officer in a naighboring city to Phoenix.  Now his health has made it so that he must slow the pace of his efforts, I have felt the urge to help carry on his legacy, and with this first edition of the blog, I salute my hero and dear brother Jack McLamb.
